About the Journal
The Academy of Management Journal (TAMJ) is a journal that publishes the results of empirical research that extends, tests, builds on management theory and contributes to management practice. This journal accepts qualitative, quantitative and other types of research. For research to be published in The Academy of Management Journal, it must make a strong empirical, theoretical contribution and the manuscript must highlight the relevance of that contribution to management practice. Research must be original, insightful, interesting, important, and theoretically daring that demonstrates a significant "added value" contribution to the field's understanding of an issue or topic.
